Here is a podcast of a very basic summary of the structure and tonality of the overture to the Orchestral Suite in D by J.S. Bach. As mentioned in the podcast, this is by no means a substitute for your lesson notes, but will be a useful revision tool. Your first task for homework - fill in the grids for each of the Schumann miniatures. 3. Your second task - answer this essay question: To what extent could ‘Yellow Bird’ be described as a piece of folk music?
