Just a reminder that I would like your compositions in on Friday 10th July or before.  You are required to provide the following: - some kind of score (as discussed in lessons) of your composition - a recording (this can be taken from Notion) I would like this submitted by email if possible.  If not, bring it in on a memory stick or something. If your recording is to be taken from Notion, please make this clear on the email.  Some of you have already started to use after school/lunchtime sessions to make up for time so please continue to do so. Year 10, This is your last opportunity in lessons to complete your first lot of controlled coursework. To complete the final paragraph of your commentaries, you will need to listen to your first performances. They can be found by clicking this link . Some reminders: The deadline for your first round of coursework is Wednesday 16th July 2014, 3.25pm. You will not be able to work on your compositions after school on the Wednesday. You will need to hand in: - A recording of your first performance - The commentary document for your first performance (remember this blog post?) - A recording of your first composition - A score (of some kind) of your first composition Sibelius: The current Sibelius situation is that it is working. If it doesn't, and that is the reason you miss the deadline, you will not be penalised. Lesson times remaining: Weds 9th July P5 Fri 11th July Ps1&2 Weds 16th July P5 (you will be in Room 10) plus any time at lunch or after school you choose. Talk to me if you have any problems. Dear Year 11, A run-down of what is required from me in terms of paperwork (save it all to your own area): B351: Performance 1 and Composition 1 Here is the pro-forma, but the majority of you should have already completed this. It is, in terms of paragraphs: - a description of your first performance piece - the stylistic features involved - an evaluation of how your performance went (you must update this if you have re-recorded) - a brief for your composition (it doesn't matter if you composition ended up completely different) The most important thing is that this document relates to the piece you want me to use as your solo performance. B352: Composition 2 This is the new one. Here is the pro-forma. Dear Year 11, EVERYTHING coursework related must be handed in by FRIDAY 22ND MARCH. If you are at all unsure as to what to hand in, you will find an electronic version of my amazing checklist here . I want to sign EVERYONE's list. You all have one. There are several slots available if you have any remaining controlled assessment time left. Just come and speak to us. You have all worked very hard throughout the course, make sure your coursework submissions are indicative of your hard work. Take ownership and get it all sorted.
