GCSE Music Revision Guides

Image
Below are links to do excellent Rhinegold guides, although you do have the information in your notes. The OCR GCSE Study Guide (click here to purchase) is quite detailed but very useful. The Revision Guide also comes with a playlist downloadable from iTunes . I've not used it, but I am sure it will be useful with the music that goes with it. Click here to purchase it from Amazon.

Year 7 French: Directions Vocab

Click here for the PowerPoint you need. Your task is to create a carte au trésor (treasure map), and then write directions to the buried treasure. You can do the map by hand or on the computer, but you must type out your instructions in this lesson. We will be hunting each other's treasure at the end of the lesson.

Year 10: Romantic Music and the Raindrop Prelude

In pairs, use the internet and other resources and write no more than 5 bullet points about the following: 1) The Romantic era and some features of its style; 2) The development of the piano and the rise of the virtuoso performer in the 19th century; 3) Some of the background to the life and works of F. Chopin (focus on Op. 28 Preludes). Present your findings by hand or on a word document, which you can print out at the end of the lesson.   This will go in your folder.
